Auystine Perez (4/25/18)

Week 2 of Development 4/24/18

Hi my name is Auystine Perez, I am the guy behind the audio visualization that you will see in the main menu. I was one of six people who worked on the First Game Bob and Weave. The idea behind the game was picking a very easy core that was designed in the class. Then adding mechanics and levels that would make it, stand on its own. Which it might have done, but I thought that there were things that I needed to fix in that game.

Problems with Bob and Weave 1

1. No Win or Lose Condition

2. No Dedicated Pause, Quit or Options Keys

3. Did not properly combine the mechanics in the final level.

Mechanics were Collectible Objects(Speed Boost), Jump (A dedicated key), and Landing (Controlled Descent)

So for the second week of Development for Bob and Weave 2 things that we have to complete by 5/1/18

1. Playtest of the Alpha Build

2. Finish creating and importing character models that have been created and rigged by Henzel Cole and Jose Patrone.

3. Have the UI buttons working on all Levels.

4. All levels are finished but not polished.

In the future before May 7 2018 these must be done

1. Collectibles placed on the field as keys to unlock pathways

2. Enemies placed on level and only react when the player reaches a certain distance.

3. The Standard Unity UI is replaced or looks a lot better

4. Royality Free or Creative Commons Music is found and tested in the game.

5. A video trailer for the second game is made and put up on the itch page

6. We build and test it for mobile

7. Have the core game Weave and Bob and Weave 1 complete itch pages

8. The ability to play Weave/Bob and Weave is doable in Bob and Weave 2

These are some of the things that I and the rest of the team will try to get done within the next two weeks. Next DevLog more progress should be made
